The 2008 Nov. 3 Election Eve Scholarship Fundraiser, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM, at the Ossining Boat and Canoe Club was a great success.

This project gives Brookside students public speaking skills and affords much enjoyment to the club members every year.
students of college supported by Kaushik foundation Rotary donates $600 to Kaushik Foundation for Women, founded by Ossining resident Dr. Surendra Kaushik

$500 goes to Northern Westchester Shelter for victims of domestic violence.

$500 goes to AIDSfreeAFRICA, founded by Rotarian and Ossining Resident Rolande Hodel, to help build pharmaceutical plant in Cameroon.

The Great Duck RaceWell the ducks have arrived and the winners of the first annual Ossining Duke Race have been announced.

Interact member and Ossining Rotary member pitch in to erect Shelter Box tent Interact Club Raises $2,000 for Shelter Boxes

On Friday Feb 1, 2008 the Interact Club of Ossining High School presented a check to Sue and Peter Klock, representatives from ShelterBox USA for $2,000 for two ShelterBoxes. The students, Sarath Nair, Sarah Shiovitz, Kiernan Colleran, Aday Diggs, Sheldon Edwards, Regine Revilloza, Jorge Delgado from the Interact Club along with their advisor Chris Buckley met with the Klocks in room 109 (the Ossining High School museum room) and set up the tent from the Box.

The monies were collected from a fund raiser held at Ossining High School in December , The entire Interact Club participated in the fundraiser and along with their advisers Ms Buckley and Ms Love did a top notch job. Omar Herrera as the Production Director for the talent show and David Cebel putting together the silent auction for did a fantastic job on the fundraiser. This was a community project with many local groups and local restaurants and shops supporting the students.

Rotary 7230 District Governor Bob Cucinell,Ossining Rotarians George Camp, Henry Atterbury, Sue Donnelly and Catherine Borgia, Ossining Principal Josh Mandle and several members of the faculty, as well as Police Chief Joe Burton supported the students in the presentation.
