Breakneck Ridge:
The Climb, the Conquest

This is the group that conquered Breakneck Ridge outside of Cold Springs on Saturday March 20th as part of the "Youth of Ossining Project" a joint effort of the Rotary Club of Ossining with the Interact Club of Ossining High School, the Ossining Parks and Recreation Department, IFCA and Family Ties. Under the guidance of Henry Atterbury Superintendent of Ossining Parks and Recreation and Scott Craven Captain of the Village Of Ossining Police Department this group bonded together.

The Youth of Ossining Project is a program developed to unite the entire community to benefit OUR youth. Our goal is to have the community work together to let our youth know we will be there for them at any time, anywhere in their time of need. To create an atmosphere in the community that will have all peoples work together to offer each student their support while offering opportunities that might not be open to them otherwise.

High Adventure trips such as caving, skiing, hiking, climbing, bike treks, white water rafting and sailing ( to mention a few) will help our youth experience the great outdoors while getting the exercise and meeting new people. Exercise is essential to combat depression, help our youth establish new relationships and possibly find a "passion" for an activity.
