Dictionaries for all 3rd Graders

On September 8th a group of Ossining Rotarians, accompanied by Town Supervisor John Chervokas, visited the Brookside School in order to give each third grader his or her own dictionary.

The project was financed by Rotary, with contributions from Howard Penn Real Estate and Union State Bank.

   
Rotary President Henry Atterbury explains to the children that they will each be receiving a new "wireless spellchecker"


"Thank you, Mr. Howard."

 
 

Each child immediately wrote her or his name in the dictionary received.


"This is so-o-o cool!"
